Well, after much turmoil and suffering, I finally got Finale (and Sibelius), Kompakt and Virtual Drumline to all play nice with each other. I'm finally up and running writing wise with no problems with templates or anything.

One thing I noticed about Kompakt though. I downloaded the updates and updated my version of Kompakt and all that. When I try to load the Virtual Drumline .nkm file in Kompakt, it has a problem finding some of the sounds. I can point the computer in the right direction and all is well. Should I put all 4 sets of sound samples in one folder? Right now they are in their separate folders (snare, tenor, bass, cymbals).
