Will virtual drumline record into midi sound files that I can convert into mp3 files to burn onto CD's for demo tapes. I have not had succes yet doing this I still get the same old funky percussion sounds that Finale has loaded. I am running Panther on a G4 powerbook.

You can do this really easily with a free program called WireTap by Ambrosia software. Check it out here:

Keep in mind, to create your recording, all you really do with this is click "record" (in WireTap) then click "Play" (in Finale). Anything coming from your computer's speakers will then be recorded to an aiff file which you can then convert to MP3 with iTunes.
