I am using kompakt in combination with finale. I was wondering if there is a way to use more then eight voices/channels in kompakt. I have tried running two sessions of kompakt at the same time; however, only the samples from one of them would play. Other then that these sample are awsome and hae really helped me improve my writting style. Thanks to all those involved on the production of this product.

The main thing you need to know is that you can indeed run multiple instances of Kompakt. You just have to do that within a "host" program. To do this, you'll essentially be running Kompakt as a plug-in (most likely a VST on windows, or AU on Mac OSX).

In my opinion, the coolest host program to get up and running easily is called Bidule by a Quebec company, Plogue.
