I've been putting Cheesy Poofs into Sibelius with VD but have come across a problem at bar 4 with 9-let off the left hand. I can't get the programme to reproduce this feel. When I did it I was left with too many rests to complete the measure?
Be sure that you're entering the correct ratio for the 9-let. It should be a 9:8 ratio (nine sixteenths in the space of eight). When you enter the first 16th of the 9-let, go to the 'create' menu and select the tuplet option. Entering this ratio should give you the correct spacing, leaving a quarter note on count four left remaining after the 9-let.

I just tried that and it wouldn't work. Then it occurred to me that Cheezy Poofs is in 12/8. So the ratio needs to be 9:12. If it were in 4/4, then it would be 9:8

You know, I was really glad that someone asked about those. I was stumped on it also.
