Choppy Playback

OK, I'm doing some input and recording work for a friend. Whenever I playback what I just wrote, the rolls and sixtuplets don't always sound even. Almost like a person without a real good sense of rhythm. I have more than enough resources on my computer, so I know it's not that.

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
I would hear this type of problem if I had the playback style set to some form of swing. You can change the playback style per bar, but not anything finer-grained than that.

If anyone else has a good way to make percussion parts play back straight while other staves still play swung, I'd be interested in hearing it.
Bill, what's your rig -- are you using a virtual cable?
Actually, thanks to Jim's help I was able to get the problem resolved cheaply (free) and easily.

There is a program called MIDI Yoke that is a digital cable. It's similar to Maple MIDI Tools only it's not software. You install it on your computer as hardware. Now I just have Kompakt and Sibelius running without Maple MIDI. Works like a charm.

Ya, maple isn't good for heavy lifting. Cool beans.
Maples not bad for keyboard stuff, but for some reason it doesn't play nice with battery writing.

I also noticed that Maple works better with Finale than it does Sibelius. I haven't tried Midi Yoke with Finale yet.
