will a score that was done with the original VDL be compatible with VDL 2? how would this work? will everything have to be re-assigned?

another question--will i need to keep all of my ORIGINAL VDL sounds in my computer in order to play scores that were done with it? surely there has to be a fairly non-headache inducing way of putting the VDL 2 sounds on old scores

From what I have been told, all scores written using VDL:1 will playback properly in VDL:2. I believe you can safely erase your VDL:1 sounds since the mapping and all that will be the same in VDL:2.
