In many of my scores the Bass line seems to get deleted in the second system of the first page and then magicaly reappears in the third system and for the rest of the score. I am completely baffled. I ahve tried placing notes there to ensure it stays but it still disapears. I am confused.

I have Windows XP, Sibelius 3.1, the patch provided by tapspace for manuscripts and sound fonts ect...

Try pressing CTRL+A to select the whole score, then press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+S and make sure that all the staves are selected and hit OK. It sounds like Sibelius is hiding unused staves automatically. The same thing happens to me from time to time.

I thought that was it too, it isn't. We figured out how to get the staff to show again but I can't figure out why it disappeared in the first place. I also tried unlocking any formatting that was done to the score, but no luck. It's an odd little glitch.
