VDL:2 is not a composition program. It is a collection of sound samples as well as an included sampler to load VDL:2 sounds only. You will still need Finale or Sibelius.

Fever, where did you purchase VDL:1 from out of curiosity?

You will still get a discount, just not as much as if you had bought it after the November, 2004 date.

VDL 2 will be $199 unless you have VDL 1, in which case you will receive a discount. Check www.tapspace.com for details.

In regards to your other question, I don't know, but I am sure if Jim wanted to release that information, he would.
