hi,
i succesfully downloaded VD and Soundblaster external card but cannot find the soundcard as one of the options on the Midi in and out in finale?!?
please help asap

Have you tried reading through the help manual that's included with VDL? I know it's geared more towards Sibelius users, but most answers are in there. Also, ther is a file on this site in the VDL Support area that is specific to Finale users.

You should also check the Finale forums and see what help they might be able to offer.
