I am just wondering how to properly load the VD soundfonts into Reason 2.5. I am using the N-19 sampler program (is that what I should be using?), however it will only load 128 samples. Even then I don't know how to correctly map all of the sounds to the correct note on the keyboard! Help me please !

Ryan,
You must use the other sampler, NN-XT. Set up your 'studio' with 4 instances of the sampler and name each one for the different segment voices. In order to load the VDL sound fonts you will need to do the following:
1) click on the folder icon on the main editor of the sampler
2) scroll through until you find VDL
3) open VDL and select the file size of your choice, ram limits you to the size (more ram, the bigger the file)
4) once you have opened your file, click on 'presets' - you may need to hit the open button
5) select the instrument you wish to load
You can load ALL of the various tenor and bass configurations if you have enough ram memory. However, you will need to set up separate staves for each instrument.
HTH.

I've been using this setup for some time. But I have a problem that I think I've ran into before but never corrected and am running into now.
I have all four loaded. Using Reason 2.5.?, Maple Midi Tools, and Sibelius 3.
Snares, Tenors, Basses work fine.
I set up the cymbals... they work fine now too... but now my snares don't
Seems like left hand snare hits, or maybe random ones trigger cymbal sounds.
I can't really see where the problem is, if it's in Reason, Sibelius, or Maple.
Anybody else experience this? Anybody have any tips?

I presume because you are using Maple Midi that you're on a windows system, I'm on a mac. First check to make sure that each instrument is set to a different midi channel in Reason, Sibelius and Maple.
