Welcome to the VDL:2 forums!

Greetings,

We've just created this new area on our forum page to make room for discussion specific to VDL:2. We've created separate forums for GENERAL DISCUSSION, HELPFUL HINTS & TUTORIALS, and TECHNICAL STUFF.

We hope you enjoy this new feature to our forum site!
I am sure you have heard this question a million times, but are you still on track for an early April shipment of VDL 2?
Barring any last minute production disasters, we will be shipping the week of April 18th.
I got a question!

If you haven't yet paid for the product, it appears as if you haven't actually purchased it. It looks like the discount would not apply to you.
Hey I also purchased VD:1 but it was about over a year ago. Do I get a discount on the new one? and if i do then how do i go about getting that confirmed and what not.??

Yes, you can qualify for a discount as long as you submit the form before May 20th. Go to this page:
https://www.tapspace.com/vdl2

Under the section that says ";Upgrade Pricing";, there is a form you must download. It contains all the instructions.

I just put in my preorder and am totally stoked!!! about getting VDL2. Will it have an install wizard, or some other user friendly way to get me up and running. I heard that the VDL1 was complicated as far as the setup. So how about it?
p.s. I paid in full
rcnix,

VD:2 will come with an installer like any other ";mass market"; software program. The developers have taken great steps to bringing what used to be very advanced/expensive techniques to the standard drum line arranger/composer.

Bear in mind that there will be a learning curve, a big one if you are new to working with music technology. Important thing is to stick with it, read the manual a few times and ask lots of questions! The minimum requirements listed on the VD:2 page are MINIMUM requirements.

HTH,

Gabe
