Is there anything that I need to do with the download I received with virtual midi. I downloaded the link www.midiox.com.....but I'm not sure what to do with it or if I don't need to mess with it at all. Could you shed some light on the issue. ...you say something about configuring the line of communication but i'm not sure what to do to enable that communication.

If you downloaded midi yoke from that site, you actually have to install the software.

There is a tutorial on the midiox website that explains how to install it. You basically run the Add hardware wizard and follow the instructions from there.

If you've already done that, you should be able to configure the connections between your software and VD2.
