The bass drum sounds that I am getting with VDL2 seem very inferior in quality in VDL1. I'm running the full version of the instrument. Is it possible that the default setting is on puffies. I haven't had any success using the key switches, even with the new update.

Okay I got the keyswitches figured out. The bass unison sounds like a one drum sample. It doesn't sound like a unison at all. It has no impact and is easily covered up by snares and tenors. Is this a problem for anyone else? Is something wrong with my program, because everything else sounds fantastic?

The BD unisons are indeed unison hits made by multiple players. What kind of speakers/headphones are you using? I've found that oftentimes that makes a big difference in auditioning bass sounds.
