Just posted on our [b][url=https://www.tapspace.com/vdl2/userdemos.html]VDL:2 User Demos Page[/url][/b] are two new original concert percussion/front ensemble recordings by Scott Hirsch titled, [b][i]Fantasy[/i][/b], and [b][i]The Wild River[/i][/b].
Both files were written using: [list] [li]Sibelius 3.1.3[/li] [li]Plogue Bidule[/li] [li]Cubase SE (mastering)[/li] [li]Virtual Drumline 2[/li] [/list]
Both files use sounds from Virtual Drumline 2 (obviously), but also use samples from Sample Tank Free. Both files have been slightly mastered in Cubase SE.
Scott Hirsch is the Front Ensemble Instructor for Champlin Park High School. He was also a member of the percussion staff for the Blue Stars from 2002-03, and was the pit section leader for the Minnesota Brass in 2001, 2003-05. Kudos to Scott not only for his outstanding usage of VDL:2, but for his wonderful creativity and musicianship. Bravo!
