Hey folks, a friend passed this on to me.  Thought I'd share it with anyone thinking about buying Kontakt 2.  Now you can get it for a great upgrade price from Kontakt Player.

So, is the price for Kontakt 2 on Tapspace's webstore the same as the discounted price you get for owning a third party version (aka VDL2)? Or does it beat the above deal?

Tapspace's academic version is $225.  The crossgrade is a non-academic version for $279.  Any registered VDL:2 owner is eligible for this crossgrade since VDL:2 uses the Kontakt player.
