I placed the install disk into the CD drive (I've tried both) and no files open, or are present through opening  files' drive.  I restarted my computer and it again reads as though the disk is blank.  I loaded Sibelius 4 on to my comp right before I tried to load VD2.  Why don't the installation files exist?

The VDL2 install disk is a DVD-rom. As stated in the system requirements, you need to use a DVD drive to install the software.
