i am totally new to the world of computer music notation but i wanted to try it out. so i bought sibelius 4 and virtual drumline. I dont know how to do anything, not just on Virtual Drumline but on sibelius too.  i cant even figure out how to get the library of sounds from VD to sibelius. i just need to talk to a pro so i can maybe get some questions answered.
please help

I think before you even jump into VDL you should spend a good deal of time working your way through Sibelius.  Sibelius has a bit of a learning cirve and I think adding VDL, which requires more knowledge, would frustrate you.  I know it will be hard but try and lay off VDL until you have a few pieces under your belt in Sibelius.  I have presented a Sibelius workhop here in Boston quite a few times and have a 24 page quick start guide that gets you going written by Robin Hodson, Eastern Manager for Sibelius.  PM me with yuor email address and I will email the PDF to you.
