I just got VDL:2 and nothing in the directions make any sence to me. Like how to i write stuff? do i need a second program because all i have is VDL:2. do i nee finale to go with it, but all i have is finale 2000. someone please help me.

You will need a notation program such as Finale or Sibelius. And, depending upon your computer OS possibly a virtual midi cable program. I'm not certain about using VDL2 with Finale 2000. On the Mac side you won't be able to run VDL2 at all because FIN2000 is not OS X compatible. Before you go any further, read through these forums and all of your software manuals.
