There is an app. that I use all the time while writing. It basically gives you quick access to hear a chord. You can either enter the chord name and hear it and see the notes on a keyboard. Or you can enter notes and it gives the chord name. The new version has a metronome and tempo finder. I hope someone finds it useful.
