Configuring with Sibelius or Finale - New "Quick Start"

Now available for free download is a Quick Start PDF document which quickly outlines all the steps for configuring VDL:2 to Sibelius or Finale. This document is now included in every VDL:2 package, however this may be helpful if you're still trying to figure out how all this stuff works together.

small errata here. . .

The last line on page 7 should say Finale instad of Sibelius. Like the bottom of page 8.

I know it's small, but to the easily confused user (sometimes me) it could be confusing.
Dean - good eyes. Thanks for catching that! We'll get it fixed in the next printing, and will have the updated version on the site asap.
This is regaurding the use in Finale Printmusic

";Finale Songwriter and PrintMusic would require the use of a Virtual Midi Cable such as Midi Yoke (www.midiox.com) or Maple Midi (www.marblesound.com).";

Regaurding that statement in your FAQ; Do they have any Virtual Midi Cables for mac? I checked out both of those, and those are both for PC.
Download and read the Quickstart guide.  A VMC is not needed for Mac.
Thank you. I should have figured that out, but I thought Printmusic setup was different than the normal Finale listed in the quickstart guide.
And sorry if I'm annoying haha but you don't need an upgraded soundcard for VD2 right?

I will get this updated to be a little more clear in regards to how this fits in with Macintosh.  Thanks for pointing this out so that we can make this better.
