NEW TO WGI IN 2007 From Raleigh, NC comes an independent world class percussion ensemble focused entirely on producing a truly creative artistic experience for its members and audience... CONSTITUTION.
As this region's only world class group, CONSTITUTION will audition players from NC, VA, SC, TN and beyond in order to find the capable minds and hands to accomplish our goal of presenting a totally new audio/visual product to the indoor community.
Constitution and Tapspace share more than just a desire for innovation in the world of percussion. Murray Gusseck is a consultant for the group, and Fred Smith, winner of the 2006 Virtual Drumline Parking Lot Composition Contest, is one of our instructors/arrangers. Many of our staff members benifited from the guidance of other legendary Tapspace composers (Jim Casella, Murray Gusseck, David Reeves, Chip Webster, Jim Ancona, etc...) as members of the Santa Clara Vanguard, and are excited to cary over much of that same mentality as we push the limits of musicianship and creativity with Constitution.
