I don't know if any of you guys are ";metal-heads"; as I am but I was watching Leno last week and heard he mention that David Lee Roth (former lead singer for Van Halen) was going to be performing. I continued watching to check him out and it turned out he was playing the Van Halen tune Jump with a bluegrass band. I sat with tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. Roth's facial expressions and stage mannerisms were VERY funny.
I did some digging around on the net and came up with the link below - enjoy!
That was like driving by a terrible car wreck and not helping but to slow down and stare...
The worst part of that had to have been DLR's performance! His ";band"; was actually pretty dang good. Believe it or not -- if you can suspend your disbelief -- ";Jump"; kinda worked for Bluegrass.
It just makes me wonder if Bela Fleck, Chris Thile and Edgar Meyer just felt a collective disturbance in the force...

HAHA! Great response.
This came around through an email forward recently and I was dumbfounded. I sensed, through body language and my very limited knowledge of NLP, that deep down everyone on the stage knew they shouldn't be there. Like it was a prank or Leno was getting Punk'd or something.

Dave is desperate to get back in the group and Eddie and Alex may actually be entertaining the idea now since their own careers are non-existant. As much as I love the original VH, seeing them all on a stage together again could be pitiful to watch. Even worse than KISS on their eighth farewell tour.

:) I too, received this in a recent email forward. Back in the day I knew the VH 1984 album like the back of my hand. It makes me really uncomfortable watching this David Lee Roth clip from Leno. Kind of like that feeling you get from watching somebody doing bad Karaoke.
Funny stuff!
