I'm sure many of you have already seen this, but I thought I would post a link anyway. - I found this while doing my ";normal rounds"; tonight and was particularly excited to finally get to hear some of Jim Casella's recent work. I have been a big fan of his writing for quite some time now and am always blown away by the content and musicality of his compositions. - This year with The Cavies is no different (in my humble opinion) - this stuff is GREAT! :)
youtube.com also has some cavies stuff on it as well as some regiment parking lot stuff from a few days ago.

I think the stuff Jim is doing with the Cavs is GREAT! I Am going to get to see them for a few days at the BOA summer Symposium (I am working the marching percussion track). Should be a good time...

Jim,
If you get a free second - highly unlikely I know - could you let us know which sections of the show or which exercises are the 4 clips listed on the IP website in the link above?
Many thanks!!!
Much mojo to you and the boys!

Hey Dave - I just discovered that DCI Season Pass is posting shows for download (for a small fee) throughout the summer. - I was able to download the Cavaliers show from June 17th in Toledo and check all of the writing in context! - Wow, I am really digging the Cavies this year! The sound quality of the recordings is also very good. Anyways, I though you might be interested in this - here is the link:
If that link doesn't work for any reason, you can also find the page by mousing over ";APD's"; towards the top of the page.

I can vouch for the quality of the APDs personally. Besides, the money goes to the corps. Drop the $2.99; it's worth it. :)

Thanks for all the nice comments. This is one of the most talented groups of guys I've ever worked with and they're coming along really well. Definitely fun to see it all coming to life!
The clips on the IP site from Toledo are: clip 1 - ";Latin Lover"; by Brian Perez clip 2 - front ensemble show excerpt from ";Wired"; clip 3 - battery show excerpt (playing with pit) from ";Genesis"; clip 4 - battery show excerpt (playing with pit) from ";Wired";

I'm glad that we are seeing more clips online this year, especially ones that are officially released. IP needs to find a new cameraman though- I feel like I'm watching everything from the perspective of a drunk guy's beltbuckle.
