The tenor part, measure 8, beat 1.  The first partial is a diddled flam on drum 1 (3 of all 6 drums) and I was wondering if it was not supposed to be the flam since it doesn't really fit the pattern.  It could just be an added flam for some extra difficulty, I don't know.  Just checking.

I also noticed that in beat four, only the "4" and the "and" are accented, but all the partials have upper case letters, typically meaning accents.

Uppercase doesn't always mean accented.  Jim also uses it to signify full extension.

In Green Beats "Flam I Am", in the tenor part in measure 8, the downbeat should not have a grace note attached to it.

This has been corrected in the downloadable 2007 Cavaliers Tenor audition packets.

I don't really understand.  Wouldn't full extension mean that it is an accent?  Like, what would be the difference between an accented full extension and an un-accented full extension?

I'm guessing you're talking about measure 4. Don't worry too much about the upper case R and L. These are flam taps and will not flow well if you try to play the "taps" too low. Give emphasis to 4 and &, but it's ok if they're a little higher than normal two-height taps.

Alright, just checking on another part that might be an error.  In measure 17 it starts of with three right flams on drums 2, 2, 3.  The left hand later has three flams on 1, 2, 4.  I was just checking to see if those right flams were supposed to be 2, 1, 3 to mirror the left hand.

Good eye KevN! This is another little typo. The first three RH flams should be on drums 2-1-3 (rather than 1-1-3 as they appear).

Ah, sorry for asking so many questions about Flam I Am. I do really like it though. Here are two more.

Is measure 9 supposed to be like measure 13 without the diddles. This is what I saw in a video, just checking.

Also in measure 12, on beats three and 4 the drums are left spock, 1, 3, left spock, 1, 3, left spock, right spock; when in the diddled measure 16 the drums are 2, 1, 3, 2, 1, 3, 2, right spock. Just seeing if one of them is wrong or if it just to make the arounds different.
