Not sure if Jim is taking suggestions for the ";update"; coming soon, but I could use more cowbell. Specifically in the Snare instrument. You know, maybe a couple sounds that people are mounting on their snares these days: cowbells, a wood block, crashers (like Cavies this summer). Nothing too involved just a bead hit and a stick hit on the cowbell, then a regular hit on the block, etc. That's my only gripe with VDL:2.
If this happens, great, but what have other people done in the past? Got any ideas how to get around this? My config is in my sig at the bottom.
Thanks

I'm not sure where this post would be most appropriate. But I think that it has been mentioned before that steel drums would be really cool to add to the library of instruments. I know that Alan Coyle at Coyle drums is an old Drum Corps guy, and so are the fella's at Panyard. They'd be great to work with.
I'd also love to see some Brazilian instruments added at some point: Surdos, Ripiniques, Pandieros, etc. I'm just dreaming of course, but hey... a few years ago if someone had said, ";Wouldn't it be cool to have every drumline sound available to play back on your home computer"; I would've said you're crazy.... and now we have VDL.
