I have just started testing Finale 2007 and 2006 with the new Templates. I just thought I would let you guys know, or make you aware, that the templates are set to use the FULL/LITE percussion mappings. If you want to use the AUTO R/L mappings you will have to go into the Percussion Map selection and choose that Map manually.
EXAMPLE:
1.) Staff Tool -->Double click on Bass Line's first measure to get the Staff Attributes[list]
2.) Where it says ";Notation Style : Percussion"; -Click ";SELECT";
3.) Choose Bass Line Auto R/L and click ";EDIT";
4.) Click ALL NAMED NOTES
5.) Click OK, SELECT, OK now this staff would be Auto R/L.
I hope this is all useful information witht eh new 2007 coming out and the new templates. Let me know if this is at all confusing.
This is correct. When I updated the Finale maps and templates I Decided that because each staff needed to be set to some percussion map using the Full/Lite for the battery would be the most useful. Likewise, the 2 percussion staffs in the pit are set to Rack A for 'Percussion 1' and Rack B for 'Percussion 2'. If anyone finds any errors/mistakes let me know or if there are any questions feel free to contact me.

Cool. Thanks Ted. I just thought I would make people aware. I can see people (like me) just starting to write and then wondering what the heck is going on. :)
Good work though. I think they look great and seem to be looking great in Finale 2007 as well. One question about the Bass Unison clicks I will start a new post.
