I have a question about getting the playback from a puff mallet in the tenor parts and switching to a stick. When I was writing for the puffy mallet section, I clicked ";D0"; on the midi. It imputed an underlined Check Mark. I deleted it and began to imput my notes. All is fine so far. I allow for 6 counts of rest (for the stick change). I type in my first beat of music, I go back I click ";C0"; for the switch to regular. I got the underlined check mark again, and I just drug the mark down to the note I wanted. When I played the selection back, everything was playing back with stick sound, no puffy. What step am I missing in order to secure the correct sounds? Thanks

You deleted your stick change. When you get the check mark, simply hide it.

This may be dumb, but ";how"; do you hide it? If I imput the correct key, the checkmark then has rhythm, how do I hide it without eliminating the rhythm? Thanks

Jeremy, first the easiest way to do the implement change is to enter it as a grace note. In Sibelius to hide a note click CTRL+SHIFT+H to hide a note. Make sure the note is selected first.
