Crash Cymbal Delay

Hi folks, Sib4 w/template...

I'm using Rack Combo B and input a crash cymbal sound.  Unfortunately, it's not really on the beat!  It's just after the beat.  I know the guys programming this tried to make it as real as possible and it sounds just like my students (who are always a bit behind the tempo) but I really need to have that crash on tempo.  Anyone else have this problem?  Could you give me a hint as to how I can do this?

Thanks a million!

Good call Bryan! Also, if you don't want the grace note to appear in the score, select it, then click ";hide"; (PC: ctrl-shift-H, or Mac: cmd-shift-H)

Funny, because I did that. I guess I just don't want to give it all away at once. People only get to first base on a first time.

But seriously you guys...

Brian,
Brilliant, yet so simple.
Awesome! Thanks for the response.  I'll try it this afternoon.
Any time you believe you need to have an attack of a note to be slightly earlier, it can be solved with the following steps:

1) Create a note where you want the attack to occur (i.e. we'll say a quarter on the downbeat of beat one for the purposes of this explanation).
2) Unclick play on pass (in the properties dialog box) for whichever number of repeats you have going on there.
3) Create a grace note on that note, then drag it forwards or backwards until you're happy with how everything lines up.

Hope this helps.
