I need help.

I recently upgraded to VDL 2.5 and I was very excited about the Kontakt 2 software included with the sample library.  Although when I tried to load third party .nki files I got an error message. Also, in previous tutorials about loading instruments into Kontakt 2 with VDL 2, users could create new instruments and load more than one patch into a bank, but in VDL 2.5 I cannot find the bank function.  Is the Konakt 2 software not a full version with VDL 2.5?  Please if anyone can help that would be great.

VDL 2.5 ships with [b]Kontakt Player 2[/b]. This is not the same thing as the full version of [b]Kontakt 2[/b]. You may use this same player to load other libraries that come in [u]Kontakt Player 2 format[/u] (such as GPO).

However, you may use banks by dragging the ";Empty Bank"; patch from the browser over to the rack area, allowing you to load multiple VDL instruments on one channel. Please refer to your VDL documentation about using instrument banks in Kontakt Player 2.
