Make your own triggers

I found this little instruction set for the ambitious DIY'ers...  and for those of us who aren't, it demystifies triggers.

Sweet! I just may have to make this my Winter project when all the little kiddies go home :)

Thanks drumcat!
AWESOME!  I especially like the candid directions :)  I am definitely going to try this.

Good find!
It actually works. I did this several years ago and connected it to a Roland TD8 Sound Module.

It's kinda fun.

These pads are quite loud, so do you notice a big delay between when you hit the pad and when the sound comes out of your speakers? Also, do most modules let you control the sensitivity of the triggers?

I don't remember a delay but it was about 6 years ago that I tried this. I will have to bring out the old boy and try again.

I can't answer your sensitivity control question.
