I'm bouncing off the wall excited :) I have a friend and ex-professor who is acctually quoted in the book ";Cult of Mac"; for opening up a new mac with his wife while taking pictures and video of the entire unpacking expirience. Although I'm not going to bless you (or anyone else) with that, I thought I would share my geeky excitment because I'm about to burst :)
I'm the same way. I've been known to ";stalk"; the UPS tracking website, waiting to see the latest update to the manifest so I know how much closer my upcoming items are to me. :)
Congrats!

My ups info hasn't been updated in like 3 days. Last known location was CA and i'm in VA.
Should be here thursday, so I may start amassing the Universal Binary Updates to all my favorite programs in advance.
Usually when I get a new computer I spend 4 days installing and transfering everything to the way I like it, but I may just load up a couple video games and play all day because I've seen a couple hundred complaints about the Radeon x1900 on teh Warcraft forums. I'm going to put mine to the test to see if I got a good one or bad one.
YAY MAC PRO!!!!
By the way, does anyone know what hard drives I can get that are relativly cheap and reliable? I'd love to have my samples on a seperate drive....

Holy crap!!!!!!!!
Mac Pro + Leopard = awesome!
Mail is SOOOOOOOO FAST. In fact, everything is really fast, but mail really sticks out because I use it for 4 accounts and i'm used to tapping my foot. Not anymore!!!!
Spaces = awesome, but I only use 2. I can't see needing more..... It's like having 2 monitors! One for work, one for play...
Ok that's all for now. My 3 hour of use review :) Oh yea! I got VDL2.5 today, gotta instal that asap!!!

Gmail -- you can collect all four accounts into one, and send out from them from Gmail too. I love it -- you may want to look into that.

Yes, I should have done this when mail was slow. It's now blazing fast though. I have a number of email accounts includes gmail and they all work flawlessly!

Well so far everything is working great. I have encountered a few bugs here and there. For example, on occation the drop down menus from the upper right menu bar (spotlight, sound, batter etc) appear to be off screen. Also, if I change certain settings in sibelius, sometimes it will give me the spinning beachball for like 30-60 seconds before it moves on. My hard drive nor my processor seem to be working hard, so i'm not really sure why this happens. Other than that, sib. 5 and VDL2.5 work great!
I do have a slight warcraft addition ;) and in their forums many many people have had problems with some of the ATI x1900 video cards. Staying that triangles cloud up their screen. This has been seen in other games as well. (you can find videos of this on youtube) I have seen these triangles 3 times while playing wow. A quick swtich from full screen to windowed and back to full cleared them up, but I have gone the last 2 weeks without seeing any. Some people claim that the problem getes worse overtime. If it does, my applecare will handle it.
So all in all, the fastest/best computer i've ever owned! I love it.
