cymbal line=what note heads make what sound ?

i've been getting more and more familiar with VDL and must say, its super sweet. but to the topic at hand:
i enjoy writing drumline warm ups and cadences and cannot for the life of me write cymbal parts. Now, i COULD figure it out as i go, but i cant write cymbal split parts. is there anywhere i can get a ";ledger"; or key of some sort so i can write split cymbal stuff so i can have each different cymbal do taps or bizbops? what i'm really getting at is: is there any possible way i can have it play back split parts, or do i have to show what each note head in the score and wait for live playback to hear what i've created ?
Eric,

I highly recommend reading the ";Read Me"; that comes with the VDL_Sib5.1 Template.  In it, you will find a complete description of the sounds that are contained in the VDL 2.5 software.
The terminology for the cymbal sounds the Read Me uses may not match what you are used to, but by experimenting with the various noteheads and articulations available in Sibelius, you'll get a handle of what sounds are available.

Read Reply #1 & #5.

Remember, your writing method may need to shift in order to get the sounds you're looking for.
