I am trying to make the upgrade to 2.5.  Every time I attempt to run ";Virtual Drumline 2.5 Installer"; from the DVD, the Vise X installer crashes.  I am making the upgrade on a 1.33 GHz PowerBook G4 with only 512MB of RAM (I realize that it is not the ideal machine for VDL).  I was using VDL 2 with Sibelius 4 on this laptop but recently upgraded to OSX 10.5 and therefore needed to also make the VDL 2.5 upgrade.  Is anyone else having this issue?

You need to get the NI Leopard Installer Patch from their website. Download it, run it, and install from there should work.

Thad - Ralph is right. Your problems are due to Leopard being incompatible with the installer program on the VDL 2.5 DVD. There are instructions on getting around this here:
