mp3 and multi problems

I have created a file and loaded the appropriate VDL 2.5 sounds. When I try to create an mp3 through finale 2008 a message comes up that says: ";audio file can't be created because it is in use with another program";. Does anyone know why this is happening? Also I have loaded the basic VDL 2.5 Battery and Pit Multi and created a file using the new VDL template. When I saved the file and reopened it, the sounds are not loading when I go to play the file. On VDL 2.5, do you have to load the sounds everytime you pull up a file or is there a flaw that I am not seeing? I remember with VDL 2 that you could hit playback and the sounds would take a few to load. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

Are you sure that you are choosing ";PLAY FINALE THROUGH AUDIO UNITS"; in the MIDI/AUDIO menu? This is an error you would typically get on Leopard (when using MIDI - SmartMusic SoftSynth) if you did not have the 2008a update. You can get this update from www.finale.com. There is a link in the bottom right corner. Here is the link just in case:
