I've begun working on a DP template file and would like some testers. Email me or respond to the post and I'll send it out when complete. This would not be a notation template as DPs notation capabilities are limited, especially in drum and key mapping. But it would work well for anyone wishing to work first in an audio/sequencing environment. Digital Performer is Mac only so sorry to all of the Windows users.
