Pontiac Prez Day Sale commercial... Do I hear VDL2?

Just curious...  anyone seen the commercial?  It's an odd collection of buzz rolls, but they sound awfully familiar...
ok so I finally saw the chevy commercial tonight, and i am pretty convinced that it was VDL. Me and 3 other friends of mine all kinda looked up at the same time and sort of all smiled n said it at the same time ";hey, thats VDL"; lol
After the commercial work you've done, if you had done this one, it would have had to be a ";special request";.  ;)
I can only imagine how you feel Jim. For you, your hearing ";my baby."; I know that really rocks. I enjoy it as a VDL user because it keeps the sounds of marching percussion, no matter what the style, in front of the mainstream audience. I think it has indirect consequences that are really good. ;)
I just saw that spot recently as well. Like everyone else here, my ears perked up, and I knew right away that this was VDL in action. I didn't do the music for that one though. I'm not sure who did that one, but it's cool to hear VDL on prime time. :)
Yeah, those sounds have to be VDL.  I figured Jim might have had a hand in it because didn't he do some stuff for Cadillac as well?
I saw a commercial last night that was advertising the Sierra pickup truck manufactured by GMC.  They were using the same funkified version of Hail to the Chief that was used in the Saturn commercial I saw recently.  It sure sounds like VDL to me.

I've missed the Pontiac commercial - so far.  What about the commercial for Saturn? Is it using brass and VDL sounds to create a feel that's a funkified version of Hail to the Chief?  Since Pontiac and Saturn are divisions of General Motors, maybe they are using the same music.

That was exactly my thought. I saw the ad for Saturn last night and backed it up a couple of times to listen to the tenor samples (I love you, TIVO).

It has to be VDL, there's no way around it!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that!
