Ok,

  So i've updated to both Sibelius 5.1 and the vdl 2.5 sounds.  I'm still having trouble with playback of crotales and glock.  I'm doing an instrument change from 5 Line percussion to Chimes, then crotales a few bars later.  I'm using a MacBook Pro with OS 10.4.  Any ideas what I'm forgetting?

If you're using the VDL Template (recommended), be sure when you're inputting your instrument change, that you're using the Glock and Crotale instruments found in the VDL 2.5 Instruments. If you don't, you may have problems since Sibelius likes to transpose these instruments. Transposition isn't necessary when using VDL however since it's built into the sounds. The VDL formatted Glock/Crotales/Xylo have accounted for this, and should work correctly.

It was actually just a dumb mistake, as usual.  I forgot to transfer my score from a regular score to the new template.  Everything works fine now.
