I'm having issues with playback that I can't figure out. I've checked all of the forums, and nothing seems to answer my question. My main problem is that this started happening randomly. I haven't added anything to my computer or removed anything. The program was running smoothly. While i was writing, (simply imputting notes, and listening to playback) suddenly, bass 1 and 2 sounded exactly the same. I played from the beginning to find that 3 and 4 also sound alike and bass 5 is still ok. I notice it is the same problem with the tenors. 1 and 2 sound the same, 3 and 4 sound the same and the 6"; is fine.
Then other random things started happening. The mod wheel will not randomly load as being in the UP position, so I will suddenly have gliss's in the xylo. I can re-adjust the modwheel and it sounds fine, but the bass and tenor problem is still there.
I've tried reloading the sounds. I've tried opening a new Template. Nothing works. The only thing I haven't done is reload the programs. Heres the problem. Both my Sibelius 5 disc and my VDL2.5 disc snapped in half in the computer case. Apparently the disc pockets don't hold very tight.
What do I do? Is there anything? Or do I need those discs? And if I do, can I even get a new VDL2.5 disc? I don't know how that works. I can't find anything about that.

Gabe,
I've already requested a new disc from Sibelius. I was more concerned about reinstalling VDL 2.5. I sent the file over. Thanks for taking a look! I definitely appreciate the quick response.
Hope to hear from you soon.

I forgot to mention, I'm not sure if it is going to be a problem with the score exactly, because I started to open all my old scores, and I had the same problem. All the old things that I haven't opened in months also have the tenor bass issue.
I also forgot one other spec. I use an oxygen 8 midi keyboard if that helps.

You have to make sure that you are using the Tapspace Virtual Drumline soundset. Your file had Sibelius essentials listed. You can select the VDL soundset in the playback devices menu. SSE doesn۪t have all of the sounds of the full VDL, which is why you weren۪t hearing all basses play back correctly.
I reset the sounds and made sure that you were using VDL:2 sounds instead of VDL1. You should only use VDL1 to play back scores originally created with the first version of VDL.
