Playback Problems in Sibelius 5.1 and VDL 2.5

Tapspace Forum,

I've been a Finale user since day one and I finally bought Sibelius 5.  I was transferring my Exercise book into Sibelius 5 trying to learn how to use it.  When I played back my ";eights"; exercise it sounded like ";accent tap"; instead of ";eight on a hand.";  I want to know why some notes sound accented when their not...

Thanks,
Stephen
Thanks Guys!!! It sounds great now!!!
You'll also want to go into the Play menu, then Performance. Select Meccanico from the first two drop down boxes. This will stop Sibelius from inserting artificial ";emotion"; into your music.

Most likely you have ";live playback"; turned on.  This feature records your key velocity as you enter notes using your controller.  To turn it off go to Play>uncheck Live Playback.  To make sure it gets fully implemented hit ctrl+A to select all first.
