Rack Combo A - Cymbal sounds not working

I have been using the Rack Combo A instrument in attempts to add some sus. cymbal rolls... crescendos etc and other splash/crash cymbal sounds into a piece, however I cannot get the cymbal sounds to work... it plays the tom sounds, tempo blocks and concert snare sounds fine but none of the cymbal sounds ";E"; line or above seem to work on the staff. I am certain I am using the correct noteheads (i verified their correctness in the edit instruments dialog) and tried deleting and re-creating the instrument but still nothing. Is there something I'm missing? do I need tremolos for sus cymbal roles? or is this just a fluky problem ?

Thanks for any advice !
If there is an articulation assigned to a note in the mapping, the articulation needs to accompany that note in the score for it to play back properly.

Thanks,

I had everything notated correctly but it just wasn't working... after a restart of the computer things seem to behave the way they should. Thanks again though, that chart will come in handy too!

It's in the Readme with all the others...

Have you thoroughly gone through the documentation that comes with the Template?
I have been through all the documentation (possibly the best advice someone has given me so far despite it being time consuming). I've actually made templates like that for the battery instruments myself to better learn how to do everything and make sure I can get the sounds I want, but I haven't taken the time to play with the rack combos until recently.

Thanks for the advice... perhaps a re-read is in order for the instruments I'm not familiar with.
