Good afternoon,

I have a new I-Mac 3.06 with Sibelius 5.1 and VDL 2.5
I am just using Sibelius 5.1 to assist a friend with a
project.  I cannot save my files to where I want them to go. 
They save, but go to a place where I have to involve the Finder to find them
(no pun intended).  The Sibelius site indicates the update
to 5.2 will solve the problem.  Is there a fix that avoids having to
upgrade to Sibelius 5.2 for the time being?  Luckily, I am not
doing any VDL work right now.  Any help out there?

Are you trying to save to a drive that's formatted for PC?  If the drive was formatted with XP/Vista, you can only read from the drive and not write to it due to security protection.
