Recording a telephone conversation

Good morning everyone,

I have a Zoom H2 handy recorder.  Is there
any way to use that to record a phone conversation?
I need to do a phone interview on Thursday morning.
I don't need high-level sound quality.  I have a simple, standard
phone in my office here at work.  Any advice?

Take care,
Neal
Other than putting the person on speakerphone, the only thing I can think of is somehow having your computer answer the call...

I used to have a computer did this -- it was pretty cool. You could then set Audacity (or similar program) to record, then go back and edit as needed.

Interesting question. I look forward to seeing some of the other responses.
This may not be the cheapest way, but I have one and it works great!

Do a search for ";wireless phone recording controller"; on the Radio Shack website, should come right up.

You may also be able to find one in your local store - that's what I actually did.

Hugh

OK, you said standard phone at work. Can you do it on your cell phone? (Assuming you have one.)

Hugh,

Howdy!  I don't see a jack on my office phone.  I do have a
cell phone.  Thanks for the help.

Take care!
Neal

p.s.  Running the phone into the computer and using Wiretap Pro might be another
option.
