Im not getting any of the rimshots sounds on the bass drums. I get the rim sound instead of rimshot. is something not setup correctly?

Which notation program are you using? How are you entering your notes (midi controller? mouse?).  Have you put in the mod wheel change early enough so it can change?  Sometimes moving the message just a hair earlier can help.

my bad....im using sibelius 5.2..im enter my notes with a midi controller, m-audio keystation 49e....ha as I was writing this message i figured it out...thanx!!!
