I need to somehow make a template for sibelius 5, i have no idea where to start.  would someone be able to somehow walk me through it or, if someone has one would you be able to send it to me?

Use the little white box at the top next time, and you won't aggrivate the VDL/Tapspace Forums Superstars.

that will also help you with installation, and other things.

You might want to actually look into upgrading to VDL 2.5. It sure will make your workflow better and more efficient. I am not sure how VDL 1 will work with Sibelius 5.

Maybe someone else can chime in here.

i do plan to get VDL2.5.  I honestly can't afford it right now.  the mac costed 2300 dollars, i have to come up with 900 dollars for books this semester plus another close to 100 dollars for a ti89 calculator and i have other miscellaneous bills that i need to take care of first. other wise id have vdl2.5 right now and wouldnt be in this situation.

[b]Remember that VDL1 is NOT vst/au compatible.[/b]  Do you have a soundfont player or a host for the sounds (Kompakt, Kontakt, Gigastudio)? Before you start looking into creating a template, make sure you know you can access the sounds.  You can refer to the Sibelius reference for assistance in setting up templates and soundsets.
