I'm running an IMAC system 10.5, and have Finale 2008 installed.

I've downloaded the Finale Templates for VDL, but have no sounds being produced. I updated the Kontakt program to the latest version, but have no audio. I've checked through the Finale MIDI settings and have adjusted those to use Native Instruments through the Kontakt program.

Also, probably related to the above, when I edit any of the instruments in Kontakt; it's telling me there are 'Samples missing'....I probably have problems with the install of Virtual Drumline/Kontakt...but have tried everything that I can think of....

Any help would be appreciated,

Before you reinstall VDL, check to make sure that the Kontakt player is looking in the same place as to where you installed all of the files.

Also, are you using the Kontakt Player that comes with VDL or the full version of Kontakt?

Have you checked the audio and midi settings in Kontakt/Kontakt Player?

Ted gives good advice.  Make sure to click on the INFO button that is at the left on the VDL library itself. What are the installation paths here?  Can you provide screenshots or messages that you are getting?

Further, is this on new files or older that may have used an older version of VDL?
