Im using Finale 07 on Mac OSX tiger. When ever i tell finale to use playback with Native instruments through AU it gives me a message saying ";Missing requested plug-in: Native Instruments: Kontakt player 2 for bank #1. Could some one tell me how to fix this. Im using VDL 2.5.1.
It sounds like you may not have the Kontakt Player 2 AU Plugin properly installed. It should be located at:
Macintosh HD>Library>Audio>Plug-Ins>Components
In that folder you should see a file named [b]KontaktPlayer2.component[/b] For VDL 2.5.1, you should make sure this plugin is version 2.2.4.001. If it's not, I would recommend re-running the VDL 2.5.1 updater and ensuring the ";Audio Unit"; is selected to be installed.

It would also behoove you to make sure that you are using the Finale 2007c update on your Intel machine to make sure you are taking advantage of all the fixes for Intel Macs.
