Before I buy VDL 2.5 I want to make everything will work together.  I am using Windows Vista Home Premium and have Sibelius 4.  Is anyone else using this combination with success?

Yes, that configuration will work.  You will need a virtual midi cable to make VDL 2.5 talk to Sib.4.  You can directly host VDL 2.5 in Sibelius 5, FYI.

Keep in mind, a ";virtual midi cable"; is a small, free software driver you'll install on your computer. This basically allows Sibelius 4 to communicate to Kontakt Player 2 (the player for VDL). You'll be running both programs at the same time. There are instructions in VDL on how to set this up.

Just to be sure, you may want to read about Vista compatibility of these virtual midi cables. The two recommended are [b]Maple[/b] (http://marblesound.com/) and [b]MIDI Yoke[/b] (http://www.midiox.com/midiyoke.htm).
