Every time i open up the Vise installer to install vd2.5 i get the screen on my mac OSX.5.5 where it asks me to install i hit OK, then it says items left to instal 441, then is quits. Is there a compatility issue with my OS and the Vise? is there a plug in i have to get? is the problem on the mac end of things? i havent been able to get further then that and it is a new disk and these problems dont really happen with my comp.

This is just a problem with Leopard not liking the installer that's on the VDL 2.5 disk you got. Check out the link TylerDurden posted, grab the Leopard installer, then drag in the three .nki files as shown in the instructions and you should be good to go.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but when these disks were made, Leopard wasn't out yet so we had no way of testing it prior to producing all the disks in inventory. It's a small download, so shouldn't take you too long to work around it.

Once you're up-and-running with that, I would recommend activating the software right away (using NI's Service Center), then downloading the VDL 2.5.1 updater (also available in the Service Center) which will not only update the VDL library, but the Kontakt Player software as well.
