I am running Finale 2007 with VDL 2.5 as a plug in. I started my Finale document with the Finale 2007 template (in which the tempo is set to 180 bpm), and I can't change the tempo. I can change the tempo in other Finale documents that are not being used with VDL just fine. I am using the tempo tool and clicking the first measure and trying to set the new tempo, but this has no effect. Is there a trick to this or something? I am new to VDL and I'm sure that there is something that I just don't know to do to get the tempo change to take. Any advice would be very useful.
Sometime, a tempo that played with Space bar wasn't play at tempo set.
Let's try its.

Here are some links that will help you after searching the forum for ";Tempo";. I would stay away from the TEMPO TOOL. I was in tech support for Finale for 2 years and this tool rarely gets used, and causes issues when it is used. There are other ways that are better to get what you want. Let us know if there are any issues.
Thank you so much Scott!! I haven't tried your suggestions yet because I have a car repair that has to be finished before Monday, so I can make it to rehearsal!! I'm sure it will work, but if for some reason I can't get it to work, I will let you know. Thanks Again!!
