I have a new album with some VDL2 sounds throughout.

Not trying to use this as a selling post, so I'm officially asking you NOT to buy anything!  I wont police you though....

I have a new album that I just finished, all percussion really (w/ some guitar on 2 tracks & vocal on 1).  I did all the playing and recording on this (except guitar on Small Embrace) and used VDL2.5 for a lot of my 'GO TO' sounds.  I used a lot of the steel drums like on 'Sunset' & ";Evening Walk"; an example.  Lots of auxiliary instruments (love those Tree works wind chimes!) and other toys.  Brake drums, cymbals, and too much to remember right now.  My lead pan and congas, bongos and shakers are the only real instruments on this.  Everything else is played on my Malletkat or Trapkat.

I recorded using Logic Studio on my 24"; iMac (intel) with 4 gigs of ram.  Mastered using Wave-burner which is a REALLY great program that I didn't see the need for before this project.  Logic Studio might just be ALIVE !!

Just wanted to say thanks for making VDL because it has pushed me in a direction of using some other products that I might have missed out on.  (NI and all they make - Kontak, Audio Kontrol 1, ect)

All my marimba sounds are from Donnie Christians library.  Some vibes are too but I think several vibes are VDL2.5.
Drum sets are all from 'Addictive Drums' and most use the Sonor Designer kit (as I play Sonor ;^)
The vocalist is one of my high school marimba Pit girls.  I think she did a great job!

You can see it here on my site http://web.mac.com/sonordrum/Steel_drum/NEW_CD.html
or on iTunes at http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=313775564&s=143441

Available for $6.49 on my site and $9.99 on itunes if you are interested.  No physical CDs exists yet.

Thanks Jim for making things SOOOO much easier for me and what I try to do!!!
